Casinos with RV Facilities

Many RV owners are in the process of planning out their travels for the 2012 year. This is a good practice because the best campgrounds get filled up pretty quickly. You don’t want to be left out in the cold!

I have noticed that RVers are starting to camp more frequently at casinos that have RV hookups, so I thought I’d highlight a few of these destinations for you. I think I’ll start with casinos that are close to Texas, then work my way out.

Winstar Casino in Thackerville, OK – This is right on the border of Texas and Oklahoma. There is a RV Park with 152 full hook up sites and a dump station too. After you’ve settled in, the game room, the business center or explore the walking trail and playground. There is also a clubhouse pavilion with 60” TVs, or the guest pavilion with  picnic tables for gatherings. WinStar World Casino is only a shuttle ride away for gaming, concerts, dining, golf, spa and more. Overnight camping is fine.

Isle of Capri Casino, Black Hawk, CO –  located just northwest of Denver, there is no RV Park on the casino grounds but there are several nearby. Dakota Ridge is in Golden, CO. The Central City casino is close by too. If you get bored with gambling, you can take a raft trip!

Fire Rock Navajo Casino, Church Rock, NM – located west of Gallup, NM, they allow overnight parking in their west side parking lot if you ask for approval from security. They have a nice restaurant and a food court too. This casino has good entertainment also. This casino got good reviews. There are several casinos in New Mexico that are owned by the Native American communities. All are nice, new and accommodating!

That should get you started on your trip planning for 2012! Hopefully you can find time in your travels to visit one of these casinos. If you do please let me know how you liked you stay. At Explore USA, we want to know about the best destinations for our extended RV family!
