You don’t want to find yourself in that situation at all, right! So here’s how to find out the height on your RV:
- Carefully get on the top on your RV with a measuring tape. Find the highest point of the RVs rooftop and you will want to measure from there. For example, you will need to take into account the vent that is on top of the roof.
- Have someone on the ground help you measure to the ground.
- Write down the measurement on a label and stick it to the inside of the windshield so that you can always see it.
You never now when you’ll need to know the exact height of you RV so keeping it in a highly visible area so that the RVs height information is right in front of you.
If you ever decide to add some accessories to the rooftop like a satellite dish or a roof rack then you will need to remeasure as it may just be the new highest thing on your roof!
