It seems that no matter the length of time you spend RVing, the laundry situation is always a big battle waiting to be waged. Alright, if you’re a full-time RVer then I can only imagine it is more than slightly worse. But thankfully there are a lot of different options that you have to tackle laundry while you are RVing Texas.
You never know what kind of adventures RVing will bring you and sometimes, it involves dirtying more clothes than you thought, therefore, leaving you with a possible shortage. You can always try to wash a few key items in the sink, but that will only get you so far.
If you are staying at a campground, check with them to see if they offer a wash room on site. It’s more than likely that they do have one. However, if that is not the case or if you are dry camping you can drive into town and find a laundry mat or another place to check is truck stops.
If public laundry facilities are not your thing then you may just need to invest in a washer/dryer combo for your RV. Now if you are already own your RVand if installing a washer/dryer combo is something you are really interested in, then you should check the large closet to see if it is already plumbed which is necessary for a washer/dryer combo. If you’re still in the RV buying process, then check with your ExploreUSA RV Supercenter representative to see if you can order the washer/dryer combo. Some RVs come with the washer & dryer already installed from the factory.
Before you finalize your decision on the washer/dryer combo, you also may want to check out to see if the apartment-sized stacked washer and dryer is an option for you. However, since this option is not the recommended RV appliance you may have to do some modifications to your RV to make it fit. For some RVers, it is worth the little bit of extra work to cut down on the time spent when doing laundry with a single combo machine. That is why I would suggest that you take the time to weigh the pros and cons for both types of appliances.
If you have a washer and dryer on board your RV, which type do you have and do you like it? We’d love to hear from you so post your comment below and be sure to stop by any conveniently located ExploreUSA RV Supercenter.
