Airstream travel trailers, available at a Texas RV dealer, come in many sizes, including the 2012 Airstream RV Flying Cloud 23 FB, at Explore USA. The Flying Cloud is almost 24 feet long and is about 6 ½ feet high inside.
The Flying Cloud sleeps four, making it perfect for your average family trip or a trip with your spouse. It holds 39 gallons of fresh water. The gray water tank holds 30 gallons and the black water tank holds 18 gallons — enough for a family to camp for a few days without having to refill the water or find a dump station. I know we all love that feature!
The 18,000 BTU furnace keeps everyone warm for those who like to brave the elements and camp in the cooler months. The front bedroom has a double bed with a nightstand, a wardrobe with drawer and a second wardrobe, so you have plenty of room for clothing — you won’t have to live out of suitcases. This space also allows for great organization. If you take some time to plan where you are going to keep everything, and then purchase items to help (I like storage bins, the XL Ziploc bags, and under-bed boxes) this task becomes simple and I think kind of fun.
Sit down for a dinner cooked on the three-burner range or cooked outside on the grill at the Airstream Flying Cloud’s booth dinette. The 5 cubic-foot refrigerator is large enough to keep several days’ food and drinks cold; and the pull out pantry holds dry goods. The double galley sink makes cleanup easy.
Enjoy the Airstream Flying Cloud’s light wood and traditional aluminum interior while relaxing and watching the flat screen television.
The bath features a tub with a shower, vanity and sink and under sink storage. This Airstream’s light wood cabinets make a nice contrast against the aluminum interior. I’m all about contrast when it comes to decorating in my RV and in my home. The Flying Cloud is light enough to be towed by a small V8 engine, so you don’t have to buy a bigger truck just to enjoy camping. The hitch weight is 467 pounds. The dry weight is 4,746 pounds. It has a gross weight of 6,000 pounds, allowing for 1,254 pounds of cargo weight.
I like taking specific models and showing you around! I like this model because it’s a great size for a small family or a couple. It provides everything you need and more- and doesn’t have too much space. Come check out the 2012 Airstream RV Flying Cloud 23 FB here at ExploreUSA! We would love to show you around and answer all of your questions!
