School is just less than a few weeks away so make the most of your time left with the kids and hit the road for a fun-filled RV trip Texas! The state of Texas is huge, so that means that no matter where you live there are tons of things to do and places to travel to. Below are our top five places to RV to that kids will absolutely love.
Jellystone Park Campgrounds – there are three locations in Texas so hopefully one of these are close to you. Located in Waller, Canyon Lake and the newest one in Burleson/South Fort Worth, the campgrounds are very popular with the young ones. These campgrounds offer so many activities for the kids from saying the pledge of allegiance with a bear to water slides and swimming. They offer great RV campground sites too!
Leisure Resort Campground on the San Marcos River is one of our favorites. They offer river tubing which is a popular activity here and is just an overall great place to make a visit to in your RV.
Krause Springs, located in Spicewood, TX is home to 32 springs on a privately owned property. They have 24 RV sites available and the property is listed on the National Registry of Historical Sites.
Dinosaur Valley State Park – if your kids are into dinosaurs then this is the place for you! Located northwest of Glen Rose, this state park offers a lot of great outdoor activities for the kids. Not every state offers a state park where you can search for real dinosaur foot prints! Check out this video on the park:
