Too Much Stuff and Not Enough Room? Check Out These Storage Solutions for Your RV Texas!

It never fails. Somehow on the journey of life we accumulate so many things. Some things have great meaning, some things not so much, but we still hang on to them. And when things start to build up in your recreational vehicle it fills up very quickly. So not only do you run out of space but you are also adding some unwanted weight as well.  So I’m going to over some great tips on how to make your storage space more effective as well as some tips on un-cluttering your recreational vehicle Texas!

A lot of the cabinets are not very effective in the ways that they could be used. I mean you open up a big cabinet and it only has one shelf in it if you’re lucky. So we need to maximize this space and make it useful. There are a lot of great aftermarket items you can buy to to this. Here are a few of my favorites:

Stow and Go Storage Slider – this is great to organize your outside storage compartments.

Add more rear storage to your Motorhome by adding a platform. To maximize this, purchase large plastic tubs to keep things stacking vertically as well as keeping them organized.

Add clothes rods and Rubbermaid pullout drawers to your closets.

Use the space under the master bedroom mattress. There are shallow and long tubs with wheels made especially for under the bed storage.

Check out how this guy removed the TV and updated the TV cabinet in his bedroom to get more storage space:

For your kitchen, you should add more shelving units.  There are rubber covered metal shelves with legs that you can secure to your cabinet for more storage. This will help you store more pots, pans, plates and food.

And a great rule of thumb is that if you add something to the RV you should take something out. Also, use bins and decorative boxes to organize things that you seem to use all of the time. For example a small box could hold the TV remote, cell phone, pens and paper.

I hope that these tips help you maximize your storage space. If you have any tips that you would like to share we would love to hear from you! Just comment below or stop by any convenient ExploreUSA RV Supercenter.
