The Original First Monday Trade Days in Canton

If shopping is your sport, don't miss the First Monday Trade Days open air Flea Market. It happens 4 days every month, rain or shine. Just check your calendar for the first Monday of the month, then back up to the previous Thursday through Sunday -- that's when First Monday Trade Days takes place. Canton is world-renowned for First Monday, when the city turns into a shoppers paradise. Between 200,000 and 400,000 tourists, visitors and vendors converge to create a flea market experience as big as Texas with over 450 ares of shopping and 4 miles of covered spaces featuring everything from antiques to jewelry, collectibles, clothes, furniture and on and on. Food is located through the grounds. You'll find everything from hot dogs and pizza to salads, sandwiches and more.

RV Parks and Campgrounds

RVers traveling in for First Monday are encouraged to make reservations in advance at the local RV parks. There is an RV park on the grounds of the original First Monday Park near the Canton Civic Center which is a popular destination for First Monday and Convention Center visitors alike. You'll find pull-thorugh sites with full hookups. Unreserved RV areas, when available, are located inside the West Gate entrance off FM859. The First Monday RV Park is also popular for rallies and group events.
